Right-click Protection

I use my site for my graphic design portfolio, so it would be great if I could flip on a setting or something and know have that extra layer of protection from people trying to steal my artwork.

  • Hi Aaron,

    there is a very easy to do method to disable the right click via Javascript, but it is strongly not recommended to do that as a lot of browsers can ignore it, your users can disable the javascript and overcome the protection, and this can be very annoying for normal users.

    P.S. Better use watermarks on your images :)

  • As for watermarks, there are already many services for their removal, so this is probably not an option. And you can not exclude services for the screenshot. Against them, there is no means of protection in principle.
