Respect the need for speed: 📈 How Can I Improve My Website's Page Speed 💨

People have shared so many remarkable ideas on how to improve site speed that I thought I’d add to the conversation with a few of my own rundowns.
Having a website with less load time is considered nowadays as a priority because not only it’s defined as a ranking factor according to Google, but also serves as a sign of quality user experience as well.

Here are some of the most important methods that I normally implement for improving a website’s load time:

·        Always make sure to optimize your Images (optimal size is around 500-1000 KB).

Benefit from the use of our WebP extension which converts JPEG or PNG Images into WebP format for better page performance and less space.

·         Minimize the number of Fonts used on your website. (Try to keep the number of fonts under 3)

Benefit from our Fonts App which is integrated with Google Fonts to only choose the right fonts for your Website in order give a better user experience and at the same time, help to load efficiently.

·         Make use of our Site Caching option to let the system cache your public pages until the next change has been applied and that will ensure fast loading for the next entries. This will result in reducing the server load and increasing the SEO scores.

Finally, make sure to evaluate your page speed with the help of Google's PageSpeed Insights.

This tool basically reports and analyzes the performance of a web page on both mobile and desktop devices, then generates suggestions and hints on how to improve that page and make it faster.
